2003 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LT 4WDReview

Cavernous Vehicle That Can Carry About Anything — Great people hauler and overall all around great vehicle. Mostly using it for construction work right at present, but can hands convert it over for a family trip. Gas mileage is plain not great on a vehicle similar this, and original toll tag was not very skillful simply you know what you are going to go with a vehicle similar this.

Primary Use: Commuting to piece of work

Pros: Size, Power, Durability, people carrier, can haul anything with it,  4x4 e'er a plus in the Chicago winter.

Cons: Gas, price, parking it, trying to fit it in a garage.

2003 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LT 4WDReview

This Seems To Be The Terminal Of The 'existent' Suburban Models. — There is plenty of power and condolement in the LT model of Suburban of 2003. The looks have improved over the last body way (indigestible 1999 and earlier). The brakes on this model have been rather soft. The latest Suburbans (2007-up) seem to exist straying away from the SUV tradition and turning more into mommymobiles like minivans.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Dearest the styling on this model (2000-2006). Not equally indigestible as the last model (1999) nor wrapped in plastic like the adjacent model (2007). Suburbans are basically a truck and need a chrome bumper. Love the Autoride.

Cons: Spare mounted underneath, too many little open bins in the nuance, no lock on the glove box or consol, parking brake barely works on this model, brakes are a bit spongy on this model. GM left a lot of perks off ths year (no under hood light, no flooring lights upwardly front, no rub rails on the roof for the luggage rack).

Leather seats make make clean upwardly of spills very piece of cake. The factory sunroof is a plus. The rear air condition helps keep every one absurd even all the fashion in the back.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: All the power yous could possibly want. Room for seven, plus luggage.

Dandy All Around Vehicle — The 6.0 engine has swell power for pulling trailers while the comfortable interior for the family unit. Got a great bargain on this 1 with only 83,000 miles for $fifteen,000. This vehicle was $45,000 brand new. Not bad for something that volition go another 200k with few issues.

Chief Use: Family unit transportation

Pros: Excellent towing capabilities and family unit friendly

Cons: Gas hog

We Love This Vehicle, In Fact We Plan To Buy Aonther I In The Almost Time to come. — Nosotros accept way more likes than dislikes. We at present accept over 130,000 miles on this vehicle and it is x years former. The Chevy Suburban looks keen and the pigment has held upwardly very well. The interior is very comfy and durable. The just event on the interior is the paint on the radio buttons has scratched off (believe from my wife's finger nails). The only odd noise that you tin can hear is a little whistle from the ONSTAR antenna (believe this has been fixed on newer models). Was not in the shop much. Replaced the h2o pump and steering pump myself effectually 80,000 miles. Replaced the left front wheel hub myself around 110,000 miles due to the speed sensor. Did the first melody-up around 120,000 miles. Overall a slap-up vehicle!

Chief Use: Family transportation

Pros: Dandy for road trips, comfortable, stylish, all of the amenities, and great for hauling 7 people and room for cargo.  Handles and rides very overnice.

Cons: Fuel mileage is low but to be expected for its size.  Seems a niggling nether powered with the 5.3L V8 but withal does fine.

2003 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LS 4WDReview

People Mover — We are a family of five. I bought this Suburban considering nosotros are very involved in scouts, like to haul our kids' and their friends, and also enjoy traveling with friends. It has served its purpose well! We have get spoiled, considering when we go on family trips, no ane worries nearly how much they are packing! Even when all 8 seats are filled, we have few complaints that it is uncomfortable (we always have the smallest bodies in the 3rd row). I would certainly purchase some other Suburban.

Primary Employ: Family transportation

Pros: Hauls lots of people and equipment!

Cons: Fuel economy - but I knew this when I bought it.

First-class Experience. I Just Bought Another Suburban Based On My x Years Of Owning This One. — Cipher short of an outstanding ride. Luxurious, powerful, lots of cargo space and towing power. Acceleration and braking were in a higher place average with this vehicle's size, demonstrated bang-up ease of control even at college speeds. We loved owning this auto and are just parting with it due to a recent buy of a 2012 suburban. Splendid SUV!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Excellent family auto! Enough of space for wife and 4 kids on long trips. DVD and leather seating makes it a comfortable ride. Looks slap-up, handles the road nicely, sits high on the road so that you lot can run into over most traffic. half dozen disk CD changer forth with rear seat entertainment ensures that several people can listen or picket what they want uninterrupted.

Cons: Could exist better on gas mileage, but the 31 gallon fuel tank makes gas stops pretty rare.

Hate To Let It Become. — Able to comfortably haul the entire family, luggage, cargo and the dog 1100 miles twice a year and was undefeated going thru the mud and snow. Has been a reliable vehicle that never stranded me and the pocket-sized repairs were easily done with my backyard mechanic skills.

Primary Use: Family unit transportation

Pros: Can carry, haul or pull anything even thru the mud or snowfall.

Cons: Toll of fuel.
